We promote your brand

Hamel does not operate to enhance or promote its own brand. Our business will be successful if we successfully promote your brand. Therefore, the relationship we enter into will be totally dependent on your strategy.

At times it will be most efficient to enter into a third-party marketing arrangement. Many of our clients prefer to second our services under their own brand. We can also build products under the Daruka name. We also understand that strategies change and we pride ourselves on managing change efficiently.

Experience across all sectors

The Hamel team has experience across all sectors of the Australian, New Zealand and Asian markets. The team has been responsible for distributing into the:

1

Institutional market

This includes (but is not limited to) large superannuation funds, bank and insurance company owned fund of funds, sovereign wealth funds and corporate super funds. Many will have a high dependence on external gatekeepers/consultants.

2

Wealth Management market

HNW advice businesses that operate generally in wholesale markets. These businesses are usually large allocators, cognisant of providing differentiated offerings and independent. Most will rely little on external gatekeepers and more on internal gatekeepers providing bespoke solutions.

3

Family office market

Usually in search of bespoke solutions and scalable product offerings are seldom relevant or sort after. A mix of internal and external gatekeepers.

4

Wholesale intermediated market

Characterised by dealer groups and financial planners. Will seek more scalable solutions.

The markets in which we operate are subject to rapid change, driven mainly by regulatory changes and shrinking margins.  It is important to identify and understand these changes as distribution strategies and margins can (and have) quickly become redundant.

Hamel is led by a qualified chartered accountant and an intimate knowledge of margins, cashflows and capital requirements is factored in as the core of any distribution strategy.
